Railway Industrial Park

The NTIG aims to re-confirm Old Mutual interest in the funding of various sectors within the conceptualized Matsapha 1 Industrial Park. With projects such as the Eswatini Railway Dry Port.

The NTIG is in the process of reaching financial close on phase 1 of the River Ridge Industrial Park Project: 

  1. Phase 1: Land Purchase
    1. Complete land acquisition
    2. Finalize Land Conversion from Agric to industrial
    3. Complete EIA, and attain all Environmental and Governmental Authorizations.
  2. Phase 2: Designs and Off-Plan Sales
    1. Complete 3D Park Designs, and bulk infrastructure designs, with updated BOQs.
  3. Phase 3: Project-Specific Allocation
    1. Dry ports, Coal storage, fuel storage, bonded warehouse, warehouse facilities, etc.
    2. Site compilation synergies are to be addressed and negotiations finalized.
    3. Designated port of entry authorization, and Eswatini Revenue Service Office implementation.
